Remixes by Lorenzo Kurizu & Howard Sessions
Retweak marks the end of 2009 with another selection of deep driving dancefloor tracks on this the 4th release and first single titled 'Final Dream'. It features two techno remixes and a deep house remix stemmingfrom a somewhat progressive and atmospheric track from Mike Richardsonand MATA. On remix duty and on loan from Amsterdam we are lucky to have Lorenzo Kurizu (myspace.com/lorenzokurizu) alongside Retweak stalwart Howard Sessions (retweak.com/howardsessions). Mike & Mata have been collaborating on tracks since the inception of Retweak Records, this their first release together, which is soon to be followed up with a series of tracks in 2010. The Original Track and club mix features an exclusive key solo from Howard Sessions
DJ Feedback:
Chris Halliday (Ketoloco): Amazing as per usual from Re:Tweak. Will play for sure
The track starts off with deep atmospheric chords breaking through the sound of an eerie thunderstorm and progresses with long sustained bass and a heavy moving high synth pattern. Half way through the track breaks down into an obscure dubstep beat which soon flicks back into a house beat, heavily driven along by a key solo from Howard Sessions.
Lorenzo Kurizu Space Dub:
Originally meant as a DJ Tool for the release this remix has developed into a track in its own right. With a heavy techno beat, strong percussion, thoughtful bass and hypnotic synths this track will happily sit alongside many of his other production as a solid reflective 'end of the night' club track.
Howard Sessions Front To Back Mix:
Howard Sessions' remix has extracted only the deepest elements from the original. With his usual driving style Howard has provided a deep dancefloor suitable for the dancefloor. The beat plods along with an electric groove, swooshing synths and intense builds
Lorenzo Kurizu Go Bradford Mix:
This remix has definite stomping techno beats. The striking synth melodies could also be described as hypnotic and grow organically through the track. A deep and dark bassline cuts through producing a pumping techy dancefloor track.
Club Mix:
The club mix has many similarities in structure as the original mix but features tougher beats and a longer intro to accompany the main body of the track.
